Oba Makarna CEO Alpaslan Ozguclu states that macaroni occupies a significant place in food imports of Japan and their target is to be more effective in the Japanese market which has 130 million consumers.
Participating in “Foodex Japan 2016 International Food and Beverage Exhibition” which is organized in Nippon Convention Center in Chiba and known as the biggest food and beverage exhibiton in Asia, Oba Makarna became the focus of interest of the Japanese. Stating the importance of Japan in the Far East food market, Oba Makarna CEO Alpaslan Ozguclu emphasized that Japan spends 60 billion dollars per year on food imports and macaroni is getting a significant slice of in food imports. Ozguclu indicated that Oba Makarna’s stand has drawn great interest in this important exhibition and exhibition is continuing with much success.

Stating that they are participating in the FOODEX Japan for the fifth time with the National ParticipationOrganization, Oba Makarna CEO Alpaslan Ozguclu further indicated that macaroni has an important place in food imports for Japan which can meet 40% of the food intake only and for this reason spends approximately 60 billion dollars in food imports and therefore, FOODEX Japan holds a significant opportunity to increase exportation to the region and expand their dealer network in Far East. Specifying that they were happy about the attention they received in FOODEX Japan, Ozguclu further stated that it is hard to break into Japanese market, however Japanese consumers are loyal to the products they are satisfied with and OBA Makarna have been in the market for many years with their products produced in their modern facilities furnished with cutting-edge equipment on the basis of total quality approach and in the future they are aiming to expand their dealer network to become single well-known Turkish macaroni of Japan.
